NDR561 WIDEBAND MICROWAVE TUNER

 

The NDR561 microwave tuner is a super-heterodyne downconverter that covers microwave signals from 2 GHz to 20 GHz. The unit provides both a 4 GHz analog IF output supporting 2 GHz of bandwidth and a 1.4 GHz analog IF output supporting 1.5 GHz of bandwidth. The NDR561 includes an embedded Linux controller that accepts user commands via a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The unit is powered from an 8 to 29 Volt external DC power input. The unit is housed in a 5.7" x 8.4" x 1.6" rugged aluminum package that provides RF shielding, thermal management, and protection suitable for harsh environments. Future options include an integrated digitizer and FPGA to provide a streaming digital IF output.
